MOTOR RACING
Lanie started racing karts at the age of 7, winning multiple Championships through the years.
She currently competes in the SKUSA Pro Kart and National Series.
Weekends not racing Pro Kart, she’s at the track prepping her step up into racing cars, specifically for her Rookie year in the 2026 Miata Championship Series. Her lap times are competitive and improving with each practice session. 2026 is going to be an exciting year.
Her father, Zeke is always looking for sponsors wanting to join Lanie on her path to the top and to share in her success.

LANIE'S RACING TIMELINE
A 13 year history of Lanie’s journey in motor racing from karts to cars.
After years of going to Glamis and Ocotillo Wells in the sand rail – on the dunes, throttle open, I would hear Lanie giggling excitedly into her headset as she screamed “Faster Daddy, faster!” I knew immediately that she had racing in her blood. I had to feed that rush.
So, at the age of 7, I did just that. I took her to the K1 indoor karting facility in Riverside, CA. Lanie loved it. She was a natural.
I had already purchased the cadet kart prior to taking Lanie to K1. When done, I asked her if she wanted to race karts?
We are now a racing family.
To go fast, it takes practice – a lot of it. So off we went to Adam’s Motorsports Park, Inland Empire, CA, everyday to churn laps. Lanie took to it like a duck to water. She was very quick out of the gate.
It didn’t take long before she met Al Ramirez. The chemistry was immediate. He agreed to coach her, just in time for her first competitive race. We registered her for the 2013 Comer 80 Cadet Championship at Adams starting in January 2013.
Al would be Lanie’s coach for the next 13 years, instilling in her the discipline, determination and dedication to be a winner.
He continues today, in cars.
Lanie impressed immediately. She was quick and not intimidated by the other drivers in her class. She ran a 3rd place podium in her 4th race. she started to win regularly after that finishing 1st in the Comer 80 Championship.
Lanie had a very encouraging year, coming up to speed strong. Once she grasped the fundamentals, her focus, effort and desire were evident to us all. She was really enjoying herself, making new friends and she was determined to be on that podium, preferably on 1st.
